Meet Sadiar

(BHSc) Naturopathic Medicine

Hello and welcome,

I'm Sadiar – pronounced Sar-dee-ya. I’m a proud Torres Strait Islander woman, born and raised on a remote island off the northern tip of Australia. Growing up in an environment with limited access to holistic and preventative healthcare, as well as challenges around food security, I wasn’t always aware of alternative approaches to health and wellness. But even from a young age, I felt a deep, innate knowing that there had to be other ways to care for our bodies, to nurture ourselves, and to prioritise our well-being.

My health journey began in my early teenage years when I started to experience debilitating and painful menstrual cycles, chronic anxiety, depression and fatigue. I lived with no awareness or understanding of what was actually happening in my body and this affected so many aspects of my life for an extremely long time. Years later, (not until my mid-20's) I was diagnosed with a condition known as Pre-Menstrual Dysphoria Disorder (PMDD).

It was during this time I discovered Naturopathy. After being prescribed endless types of anti-depressants and oral contraceptive pills, I decided to take an alternative approach to healing my condition, utilising a variety of herbal medicines, nutritional supplements, dietary and lifestyle changes.

After experiencing major health improvements, my passion and intrigue for Naturopathy evolved into a career, and I embarked on 6-years of rigorous academic studies and clinical training in Sydney and the Gold Coast to become a degree qualified Clinical Naturopath registered with the Australian Naturopathic Practitioner Association (ANPA).

I am truly thankful that I can now help others with their holistic health journeys. I love connecting with people from all walks of life, helping them uncover the root causes of their health imbalances, and witnessing them bloom from the inside out.

I believe in addressing health imbalances at their core, through evidence-based practices. Steering away from quick fixes, but still providing symptomatic relief and making natural medicine more accessible wherever I can. Above all, I believe in walking alongside you, providing the tools and insights needed to integrate sustainable changes that promote long-term health and enhance your quality of life.

Yours in health & healing,
